In the recently concluded State Roller Skating Championship, organised by Jammu and Kashmir Roller Skating Association (JKRSA), at Shiva Roller Skating Institute, Peer Kho, here Indian Hawks Roller Skating Club excelled dominating the podium by fetching record 36 medals.
While Vansh Jamwal won three gold medals in Inline Speed under-seven category in boys section, Ruhika Sharma bagged three gold in under-14 Inline in girls section. Another promising skater from the Club, Garima Jamwal bagged three gold medals in under-17 girls’ Inline event.
Manya Sharma bagged three silver medals in under-11 inline girls’ and Ranveer Singh Shan secured one gold, one silver and one bronze medal in under-14 Inline boys event. Vanshaj Sharma won one bronze in under-17 Inline.
In under-nine Quads boys event, Puneesh Puri won three gold medals. In under-11 girls, Prageet clinched a gold and two silver and Tamana won two gold medals. In under-14 Boys, Samarjot Singh excelled with three gold while Uday Sharma won three silver and Angad Singh took away three bronze medals.
In under-17 boys, Kartikeya Puri got three gold and Surya Sharma bagged three silver medals.
Meanwhile, Parents Association of Indian Hawks Club thanked international skater, Arjun Gandotra for being an inspiration to the young skaters of the club.
