It is said that children who grow in the soil, can do something if there are passion and learning in mind. Then nothing is as difficult as Tanushree Choudhary has proved.
Three boxers from Jammu and Kashmir had made the name of Jammu bright by winning two golds and one silver medal in boxing at ‘Shaheed Bhagat Singh Indo-Nepal International sports meet’ in 2020-21. These children are residents of the village. The girl (Tanushree Choudhary) from Muthi village had brought laurels to the state.
S. Manjeet Singh (Ex-Minister and President all J&K Jat sabha) along with S.Trilok Singh Bajwa (Ex-MP) presented, said that sports one perceived to be an extracurricular activity by most but now taking center stage, recent facilities and motivation to the young minds had ignited them to take up their sports carrier more seriously and bring laurels to the nation as well as to their families.While felicitating the Tanushree Choudhary, Randhawa highlighted Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji’s mantra ‘Khelega Bharat toh Khilega Bharat’ has been the main factor in bringing the change in the understanding of the game in the country in the last few years. At one time most people considered sports as a recreational activity apart from education, but now it has come to the center.
In presence of S. Manjeet Singh (Ex-Minister), T.S. Bajwa (Ex-MP), Ch. Vikram Randhawa (Former Legislator) and Dwarka Choudhary (JMC Councillor) and Kripal Singh (Coach), Tanushree Choudhary was honored with Shawl and Bouquet on her achievement.
