JAMMU, Sept 24:
The Inter-Collegiate Basketball (M&W) Tournaments 2018-19 commenced today in the University Basketball Court, University of Jammu organized by the Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu.
In Men Section, total three matches were played. In first match, Dogra Law College defeated MBS College by 29-18. In 2nd match, GDC, Kathua beats GDC Samba by 34-10 and in the 3rd Match, MAM College outplayed GDC,Hiranagar by 33-24.
The Women section matches will commence tomorrow ie September 25, 2018.
The Inter Collegiate Basketball Tournament 2018-19 is played under the overall supervision of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu.
Other present on the occasion were Sh. Ramesh Magotra, Sh. Raj Kumar Bakshi, Sh. Jai Bharat, Sh. Ravish Vaid, S. Harinderpal Singh, Sh. Vikas Karlopia, Ms. AnuRadha, Sh. Raghav Sharma, Sh. Amit Pandoh, S. Charanjeet Singh, Mrs. NeelamChalotra and Sh. Hans Raj Sharma.
