JAMMU, Oct 17:
Block level inter-Panchayat (boys and girls) competitions in the disciplines of Chess and Carrom of twin blocks of Dudu and Basantgarh concluded with the holding of valedictory function at Government High School Dudu Kirchi and Government HSS Basantgarh.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Swarn Singh was special guest, who felicitated the participants in the presence of Sarpanches and Panches. Khem Raj Khajuria (retired Headmaster HS Dudu Kirchi) and Baldev Raj (Vice Principal) and Anil Gupta (Headmaster GMS Basantgarh) were special guests.
In all, 396 boys and 274 girls drawn from different 17 Panchayats of Block Dudu (CD Block Basantgarh) and 208 boys and 143 girls from Basantgarh participated in the competition.
The technical penal for this competition comprised Parshotam Kumar, Sudesh Kumar, Karun Magotra, Rakesh Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Abid Hussain, Mohd. Arfan, Pankaj Gupta, Sanjeev Khajuria, Kuldeep Kumar, Shabbir, Devinder Kumar and Vipin Photra.
