JAMMU, Nov 29:
Annual inter-school girls’ athletics meet of district Jammu, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), started today at University of Jammu grounds, here today.
The competition was declared open by Director Physical Education, University of Jammu (JU), Dr Dawood Iqbal Baba. Earlier, district officer (DYSS), Chanchal Kour welcomed the participants and said that the event his being organised to raise district team for the divisional level competition.
The Results: Under-19: Discuss Throw: Harsimran of HSS Miran Sahib, 1st, Ist. 400 mts: Kajol Devi of GHSS Jourian, Ist. 3000 mts: Shevata of HSS Miran Sahib, Ist. High Jump: Manvi of GHSS Satwari, Ist.
Under-17: Discuss throw: Tanea Kumari of HS Simal Camp, 1st. High Jump: Aditya of MHAC Nagbani, Ist. Under-14: Discuss Throw: Rubiya Begum of HS Simbal Camp, 1st. 400 mts: Muskan Firdous of KB Public School, Ist. High Jump: Ayushi Rajput of JK Public School Kunjwani , 1st.
