Dhadak’ duo Janhvi Kapoor, and Ishaan Khattar dropped by at the sets of a dance reality show, which is judged by ‘Dhak Dhak’ girl Madhuri Dixit Nene and Shashank Khaitan, to promote their movie.Dixit made her film debut in Abodh (1984)[4] and received wider public recognition with Tezaab (1988).[5] She went on to establish herself as a leading actress of Hindi cinema with the films Ram Lakhan (1989), Dil (1990), Saajan (1991), Beta (1992), Khalnayak (1993), Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! (1994), Raja (1995) and Dil To Pagal Hai (1997).[5][6] She garnered critical acclaim for her work in the dramas Anjaam (1994), Mrityudand (1997),[6] Pukar (2000), Lajja (2001) and Devdas (2002).[7] In 2002, she took a sabbatical from films to raise her children and made a comeback with the musical Aaja Nachle in 2007,[8] later starring in the 2014 dramas Dedh Ishqiya and Gulaab Gang.[5] Her first role in Marathi cinema came with the 2018 comedy drama Bucket List.
The debutants were all smiles as they posed for a picture with Madhuri.
Taking to her Instagram, the 51-year-old star posted a photo of the three, captioned.Jahnvi also took the opportunity to thank Madhuri for stepping into her mother’s, late actor Sridevi’s, shoes for ‘Shiddat’.Helmed by ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya’ director Shashank Khaitan, ‘Dhadak’ is an official adaptation of ‘Sairat’.
The film will hit the big screens on July 20.
