JAMMU, June 21:
Wrestler Ishaq Ahmed (Lallu) of J&K Police defeated Aman of Ludhiana in Punjab and lifted 3nd Kadmal-Kandua Dangal title. This dangal was organized by Kandua Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association at village Kadmal in Katra Tehsil Reasi and district Reasi.
In all, 53 bouts decided in this day-long dangal. The winner of main bout Ishaq Ahmed awarded with a cash prize of Rs 12,000 by Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council, Shiv Kumar Sharma and social activist, Surinder Kumar, Rakesh Kumar (Kaka) and Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri). The runners-up, Aman received Rs 9,000 cash prize from secretary Kandua Dangal Committee, Ashok Kumar. The second main bout ended in a draw between Nisar of J&K Police and Sonu of Sirsa in Haryana. Third main bout won by Roshan Lal Sharma of Muthi who defeated Arjun of Sirsa while fourth bout went to Babba of Kot Bhawal Jammu who defeated Amir Khan of Nargada. Members and technical officials who helped for conduct of this dangal included Rakesh Kumar (Kaka) President, Ashok Kumar Sharma, Mohan Lal Sharma, Ram Lal, Pandit Sohan Lal, Sham Sunder Sanmotra, Vijay Kumar, Virender Kumar (Polu), Thoru Ram, Asha Nand, Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri), Pawan Kumar, Raj Singh, Mohd. Fareed Mohd.
