Ishuk Choudhary, Sourav Dogra, Sohail, and Nitin today qualified for the quarterfinals of the 6-Red Ball event of the ongoing State Billiards and Snooker Championship, organised by the J&K Billiards and Snooker Association at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here.
While Nitin and Sohail had easy going, Manik and Sourav underwent a tough contest in the pre-quarterfinals decided today.
The Results: Nitin Sharma bt Rohit shamra 3-0 (28-15, 25-13, 32-13); Sohail Khalid bt Ali Mahmood 3-0 (40-13, 30-19, 34-14); Manik Sharma bt Jasmine Singh 3-2 (25-34, 03-37, 46-36, 38-10, 33-14); Ishuk Choudhary bt Kashif 3-1 (56-16, 40-42, 53-38, 38-18); Sourav Dogra bt Ishan Sngh 3-2 (28-30, 35-14, 40-18, 17-36, 30-23).
