The protesters raised playcards and chanted, slogans in support of their demands which includes.
Release 7th y Commission arrears and six months pending salary for the month of Jan. & Feb., 2018 and Feb. 2019 till date, of masters posted as head teachers under SSA.

Repatriate /.transfer all masters, Lecturers and Headmasters on priority -who have completed their tenure within & out of Districts.
ccord senior teacher grade to trained under grade to teachers.
USTA expresses its anguishness and strong concern over the inordinate delay in disbursement of salary to masters and teachers. Change of guard in the state weather it is elected Govt. or Governor rule makes little difference over the burning issue faced by teaching community. It is highly deplorable that despite repeated demands, protests, appeals , dharanas and demonstrations State Govt. has failed to redress the demands for immediate regularization of all Lecturers Headmasters, ZEO & Principals etc. The protesters strongly condemns the authorities at the helm of affairs for not making transfers. of masters , Lecturers and Headmasters who are working at a particular place of posting in far flung areas for last so many years and demanded their – transfer on priority. They also demanded senior teacher grade for trained under graduate teachers. USTA appeals the Governor administration to concede to the demands at an earliest otherwise teaching community will be compelled to resort to further agitation.
Others who addressed the gathering includes Rajeev Kumar, Kanta Devi, Pardeep Singh, Roop Chand, Raj Kumar, Bashir Hussain, Ashok Kumar, Balwant Singh, Sunil Thappa etc.
