The beautiful Jacqueline Fernandez made it a point to explore the local cuisine while shooting in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan for her upcoming film, Bachchan Pandey. She is a big fan of desi Indian cuisine and doesn’t miss a chance to try out the local fare, from wherever she’s travelling across the length and breath of the country. She truly rocks the lunch scenes during her outdoor schedules in India.The actress, although from Sri Lanka, is a die-hard fan of Indian cuisine. Shares a source from the set, “Jacqueline is a total foodie and in that sense, absolutely desi at heart. She loves to explore local Indian food so much that whenever and wherever she travels in India, she makes sure she tries out the local cuisine of the place. She does her own research and figures out the traditional local items and relishes them to the hilt.” Jacqueline, who owns restaurants her self has a keen interest in the culinary world and never fails to try and appreciate Indian food. Even when she was busy with a hectic schedule on the sets of Bachchan Pandey, she took time out for her gastronomical adventures and explored the local cuisine. Jacqueline had paid a visit to The Golden Temple during the promotions of A Flying Jatt. When in Amritsar, she enjoyed the local street food and the traditional items there. The actress is connected with Indian culture and traditions so deeply that she’s seen celebrating almost all the Indian festivals in great pomp and grandeur. Be it Holi, Eid or Diwali, Jackie’s spirits are always high.
