The Jammu and Kashmir Panchayat Secretaries (VLWs) Association [AJKPSA] elected Jaffar Mustafa Chouhan as its Provincial Presidential of Jammu division in the heldhere today at Shikargah, Jammu. Panchayat Secretaries from across the Jammu province actively participated to ensure free, fair and transparent election process. The election was conducted in accordance with Government Order No. 1802 GAD of 1988 by the Panchayat Secretaries Association in which indirect voters from all the ten districts took part.
On the occasion, Jaffar Mustafa Chouhan from Jammu district was unanimously elected as Provincial President, Dilshad Ahmed Malik from Rajouri as Vice- President, Ms. Jyoti Angural from Reasi as General Secretary, Lakhwinder Singh from Kathua as Joint Secretary, Rajesh Dutta from Jammu as cashier,. TanjotSingh from Samba as Media Co-ordinator while Bhumesh Sharma (Samba), Ramanjeet Singh (Udhampur) and Akhil Sangra (Kathua) as organisers of newly framed body. The Association members congratulated the newly elected office bearers and garlanded them with full enthusiasm. They hailed their active contribution towards the betterment and effective functioning of the Panchayat RajSystem in the Jammu division. The event was marked by a spirit of unity and dedication, reflecting the collective commitment of all participants towards strengthening grassroots governance.
