Jammu East MLA and party chief whip Rajesh Gupta inaugurated the work of a toilet complex at Samadhian Road near Dogra Chief in Ward No.19. The estimated cost of the work is rupees 10.50 lakhs.
The JMC officials who accompanied the MLA included Xen Arun Gupta, AEE Anil Gupta and JE Mohd.Yaseen.The President of the Municipal Market Association Sd.Dalbir Singh also accompanied the MLA.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that the building of toilets is part of the larger campaign to make the country open defecation free and in this the Modi government has made huge progress. Construction of toilets also compliments the Swatch Bharat Abhiyan that endeavours to make our country clean and in line with the status and respect that our country enjoys in the comity of nations.
