Jammu East MLA and party chief whip Rajesh Gupta inaugurated the work of the lanes and drains at various places in Ward No 2 at an estimated cost of rupees 5.50 lakhs.
In this campaign he was accompanied by the JMC officials Xen Arun Gupta, AEE Ashok Sharma and JE R.K.Koul.
The BJP leaders who accompanied the MLA included Distt.President Baldev Singh Billowria, General Secretary Viney Gupta, Gopal Gupta, Rajinder Gupta (Babbu), Narottam Sharma, Amit Khanna, Dhanawaroop, Vidya Devi, Rajesh Nischal, Parajwal Mahajan, Sushant and Parveen.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that development is a continuous process and we never ever take our eyes off from this activity.He said that the development of the Jammu East constituency is his sacred mission and appealed to the people of Jammu East not to lend ear to false propaganda of the vested interests. Rajesh Gupta told that the GDP figures of 7.7 percent growth for the last quarter have propelled India to the pedestal of the fastest growing major economy in the world. This should put to rest all the discsession regarding the pace of development and reforms in the country.
