The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has announced the results of the Combined Competitive Examinations (CCE)-2023, with the top-ranking candidates being Sanjeev Kumar, who scored 1089 points, followed by Iqra Farooq with 1078 points, and Vasudha Sharma in third place with 1075 points. A total of 71 successful candidates have been selected for medical examination. The CCE-2023 selection process began in April 2023 when the General Administration Department referred 75 posts to JKPSC for recruitment. The Commission received a large pool of 30,756 applicants, of which 18,882 appeared in the Preliminary Examination on October 15, 2023. Of these, 2,144 candidates, including 77 who were

provisionally allowed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, advanced to the Mains Examination held from March 26 to April 3, 2024, in Jammu and Srinagar. Following the Mains, 274 candidates progressed to the interview stage, with 11 additional candidates added based on court orders. Interviews were held between October 21 and October 29, 2024, at the JKPSC Srinagar office, and the final results for 266 candidates were released after eight candidates did not attend.
In line with regulations under SRO-103 of 2018 and the JKPSC Examination Rules 2022, the JKPSC has recommended 71 candidates for medical examination, marking the final steps of a rigorous recruitment process aimed at filling competitive administrative roles in the region.
