Jan expresses concern over border shelling, calls for peace

JAMMU, MAY 22:
Provincial President, Youth National Conference, Mr Ajaz Jan today expressed grave concern over Pakistani firing and shelling along International Border and Line of Control, leading to dislocation of border dwellers, killing of civilians including an eight month child.
“Civilians are falling prey to the condemnable Pakistani shelling”, Mr Jan said while addressing workers at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, here and conveyed condolences to the families that lost their dear ones. He also condoled the death of a BSF jawan in recent firing.
He said bullets and shells are causing enormous human sufferings and this had to be stopped by working towards heralding peace by adhering to the ceasefire agreement. Those who spoke on the occasion included Rohit Kerni, Rohit Bali, Yashuwardhan Singh, Tajinder Pal Singh, Sandeep Wazir, Kousar Malik, Reitesh Koul, Adv Zameer Qureshi, Jalaj Chaudhary, Vishal Gupta, Nitish Goswami, Sahil Singh Jamwal, Muzamil Malik, Atul Sharma, Mudit Seth, Jyot Singh, Nawaz Ahmed and others.
