Janhvi Kapoor recently shared an amusing incident from where her father producer Boney Kapoor found her attempting to be sly about a boy. During an interview with Mashable, the actress recalled about driving by her apartment and revealing how her father spotted a person jumping out of her room’s window.Janhvi shared, “First floor that was my room. This was the first house mom bought in Mumbai, when she started shooting. So this was like a bachelor pad and I snuck someone in once and I didn’t wanna let them out from the front door, so I said, you jump. So I said jump, and my car was here. It was a tall car, so I said jump on to the car and roll over and he did.” She then added, “And then dad saw it on the CCTV camera anyway and he’s like what are you doing and that’s why he put this grill outside this room, so no one could jump in and out.” The actress had said, “It was an exhaustive process of six months to get into the skin of the character and sync into the role.” Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, directed by Sharan Sharma, who made his film debut with Gunjan Saxena – The Kargil Girl, will be Janhvi Kapoor’s fourth theatrical release, following Dhadak, Roohi, and Mili. She is scheduled to appear in two more films this year, the political thriller Ulajh and the Pan India production Devara, featuring Jr. NTR and Saif Ali Khan. After Srikanth and Mr. & Mrs. Mahi, Rajkummar Rao’s planned 2024 releases are Stree 2 and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Mr. & Mrs. Mahi is scheduled for release on May 31.
