Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor recently took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her sunburnt back, a result of spending too much time under the sun. The 27-year-old actress, who is currently filming the romantic comedy Param Sundari in Kochi, posted a mirror selfie showcasing her tanned skin. In the photo, Janhvi is seen wearing orange shorts and a grey activewear crop top, flaunting her sun-kissed look.Produced by Maddock Films, Param Sundari is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 25. The film centers on a love story between Sidharth’s character, a North Indian boy, and Janhvi’s character, a South Indian girl. Dinesh Vijan, head of Maddock Films, compared Param Sundari to the romantic films of legendary director Mani Ratnam, such as Saathiya. “The kind of music it has and Janhvi playing a South Indian is interesting. Sid’s playing a Northern Delhi boy, and the conflict is very cool,” Vijan told Variety. He also hinted at a high-tech element in the storyline, drawing parallels to their recent release, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, while venturing into the cultural richness reminiscent of Kantara.
