Boney Kapoor along with his two daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor recently attended the 65th National Award function to receive the award on behalf of his late wife, Sridevi.
The two girls stuck to their roots and sported traditional attires, with Janhvi donning mom Sridevi’s Kanjeevaram saree and Khushi, a traditional half saree at the function. However, what caught the attention of onlookers was Janhvi’s mannerisms at the event.
Fans noticed that Janhvi just not only wore mom Sridevi’s saree but also displayed some gestures just like her mother. Janhvi was spotted wiping sweat off father Boney’s forehead just like how Sridevi used to. Sridevi was seen doing the same at the Filmfare Award function in 2013.
Boney Kapoor and his daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor have been spending a lot of time together as a family lately. Now, the trio was spotted at the New Delhi airport as they arrived to receive an honour in Sridevi’s stead.
The late veteran actress has been conferred with the National Award posthumously for her performance in the film ‘Mom’, which the family will be accepting on her behalf. Our cameramen spotted the three as they were exiting the Delhi airport.
It is indeed an emotional moment for the family and Boney has already stated that he is overwhelmed that his wife has received such a prestigious honour.
Janhvi Kapoor, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Shashank Khaitan’s ‘Dhadak’ alongside Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khatter, has become a favourite of the paparazzi of late.
The young starlet is captured by the shutterbugs whenever she steps outside her house and she never fails to impress the fashion bloggers with her dressing sense.
