All India Jat Maha Sabha has organised Maha Samellan today at Golden leaf banquet hall gangyal under the presidentship of Ch.Manmohan Singh President AIJMS (J&K), Sh. Yudhvir Singh Gen.secy AIJMS , Rakesh Tekait President Bhartiya kissan Union, Ch. Dharamvir Singh secy. AIJMS were guest of honour, they also have supported our demands in letter and spirit. A massive crowd turnover was seen attending the samellan which is said to be one of its kind with biradari people in hundreds gathering for it. Sh.Tekait in his addressal to the crowd said to our community members to launch a state level agitation to get their genuine demands fulfilled under the leadership of Ch.Manmohan Singh and he extending his support to the cause of Jats in J&K said that he will dispatch his supporting brigade at the time of agitation in their support. Threadbare discussion were held regarding unresolved problems /issues of Jat community / border area. While highlighting the demands which included one time settlement as compensation of minimum Rs. 30 lakhs out of which only 5.50 lakhs have been released in favour of about 60% displaced families of 1947,1965 and 1971, remaining families are left with no aid by Govt while they are also facing difficulties in completing their documents due to non co – operation of Revenue deptt. Also the transfer of ownership rights of land to displaced families of 1965 , 1971 so as to get benefit of loan facilities and other facilities provided by the govt from time to time . Compensation of Rs.10 lakhs per person to those families who lost their family members life in cross border firing and one govt job to next kin & kinth , further RBA category to the border people living within 8km of border area , with OBC to Jats on the pattern of other 11 states , 5 marla plots at safer places to border area so they can move there with their families rather than living on border becoming victims of cross border firing , special recruitment drives for this border youth , with shifting of border fencing at zero point. The whole Jat biradari has shown unity and faith in their representative Ch. Manmohan singh . According to them, their belief in Ch.Manmohan Singh can never falter as he has always been true to his word and taken their issues to every possible platform.
