Today Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and Research celebrated World Health Day which is observed worldwide on 7th April. The programme commenced with lamp lightening and ritual worship of Lord Dhanwantri. On this event various power presentations and poster presentations were given by PG scholars and students of final year BAMS .The whole session was organised with main theme i.e ‘Universal Health Coverage’ according to WHO Organisation seems its key aim to ensure that everyone can obtain the care they need when they need it, right in the heart of the community. The whole event was coordinated by Dr. Twinkle Gupta Associate Prof, Dr. Poonam Gupta Asst. Prof of PG department of Kayachikitsa and Dr. Abhishek Magotra Asst. Prof, Department of Swathvritta .The session was organised under the supervision of Chairperson JIAR Mrs Suman Sharma .Managing Directors Mr Ravish and Mr Ritesh, Principal JIAR Dr. Raguveer Singh, Vice Principal Dr. Nitin Mahajan .The whole session was concluded by honorable Principal Dr. Raguvir Singh who spoke to the students to aware at least to aware the people about their health and lifestyle.
