JIAR observed World Alzheimer’s Day on September 21, 2024, with the theme “Time to Act on Dementia; Time to Act on Alzheimer.” Students from the 2023-2024 batch presented posters, PowerPoint presentations, and engaged in debates on both modern and Ayurvedic aspects of Alzheimer’s disease.
They also pledged to spread awareness to combat this progressive neurodegenerative condition. The global effort aims to raise awareness and challenge the stigma surrounding Alzheimer’s disease. The event was organized by Dr.Lakshmi Sameer Mahajan.
