Today a delegation of Jammu Kashmir Casual Labour United Front (JKCLUF) met Cabinet Minister Javed Ahmad Rana and Cabinet Minister Satish Sharma and apprised them of the grievances of daily wage workers/casual labourers and put forth their demands before them which include regularization/Minimum Wages Act and those who have not come in the online process.
Cabinet Ministers Javed Rana and Satish Sharma assured them that the Jammu and Kashmir government is already concerned about their demands and trying to resolve them.
The leaders of the Front invited them to Maharaja Hari Singh Park on April 22 where daily wager workers of every department are going to hold a Mahapanchayat and asked them to come and put forth their side on behalf of the government and assure us that the government is with us.
The delegation included Tanveer Hussain, Devinder Singh Reasi, Pawan Kumar, Farooq Bhati Sunderwani, Babu Hussain Malik, Tartaz, Vishan Raina, Pradeep Sharma, Vinod, Bashir Ahmad Kashmir, Ganesh and others.
