J&K excels in Kick Boxing, wins 15 medals

JAMMU, Mar 31:
Jammu and Kashmir excelled in the Wako India Federation Cup winning 15 medals at Balewadi Stadium, Pune in Maharashtra from March 24 to March 29.
The 19-member winning team was received, on their return, by general secretary Abhishek Jain and president, Vivek Bassan of J&K Kick Boxing Association. Both of them patted the medal winners and appreciated the coaches and other supporting staff for the improved performance. While Ayudhmaan Jamwal bagged gold and a bronze in twin events he contested for. Monika Bhan also clinched a gold. Shoib Malik and Mannat Mehta secured a silver each.
Other medal winners were Aijaz Ali (gold), Shahnwaz Ali (gold), Faizan Tariq (gold), Mosin Lone (gold), Basharat (silver), Malik Ishtiyaq (silver), Razia Mehmood (silver), Aman Tahir (silver), Iqra (bronze), Tehreen Parvaiz (bronze) and Hashim (bronze).
The winning team was accompanied by Danish Padha as coach while Muzaffar Ahmad and Firoz were managers.
