JAMMU, June 26:
State Pencak Silat team excelled in the recently held National Sub-Junior and Pre-Teen Championship held at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. The team took part in the event under the banner of J&K Pencak Silat Association.
The State team won three gold and as many silver medals in different weight categories in these two events.
The medal winners: Gold: Manik Mahajan, Kanika Bhagat and Khusboo Jamwal. Silver: Idhant Gupta, Sarthik Sharma and Shweta. Bronze: Aardhaya Dubey, Pranat Khajuria, Dhanak Bali and Angar Jamwal.
