Micro Finance and Financial Inclusion Departmentin collaboration of Regional Office Jammu, Rajouri/Poonch& Kathua/Samba conducted 475 camps in Govt of India campaignon the theme of “GRAM SWARAJ ABHIYAAN”in 19 Villages covered in Districts Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Rajouri&Poonch.
Vipan Gupta, Sr. Manager, Micro Finnace& Financial Inclusion, J&K Grameen Bankhighlights that 475camps conducted by JKGB under Gram Swaraj Abhiyaanby enrolling 11774 enrolments under the said programme. The set target of 8651 has been achieved by the bank.He highlights that the bank opened the accounts of mostly unbanked population in the most backward areas of the given 19 villages under Pradhan Mantri Jan DhanYojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan JyotiBhimaYojana (PMJJBY) and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha BhimaYojana (PMSBY).He highlights that 100% saturation has been cover under all the three social security schemes in all 19 villages given by DFS. He make all the efforts to enrol more and more person under the social security schemes so that the poor and unreachable population may also get the benefits of these schemes.
Regional Manager Jammu, Rajouri/Poonch& Kathua/Samba, J&K Grameen Bank, makes a great effort to achieve such target underGram Swaraj Abhiyaan a GOI programme for covering the poor population in the villages of Districts Jammu, Rajouri, and Kathua &Samba.
Repersentatives of various departments i.e., BMO, BDO, LDMs, DDMs, Deputy Secty DFS and many local coordinators take part in daily campaign of Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan. They also make their effort to aware the unreached population to take these benefits.
