J&K Grameen Bank conducted GOI campaign “Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan” at village Lam and Qila Darhal (unbanked area) near Loc under the Branch Office-Lam Tehsil-Nowshera & District-Rajouri
Micro Finance and Financial Inclusion Department under the chairmanship of Sh. R.K Chhibber conducts Govt of India campaign “GRAM SWARAJ ABHIYAAN” in the remote village Lam & Qila Darhal(unbanked area) near Loc under the Branch Office-Lam, Tehsil-Nowshera &District-Rajouri.
Sh. Des Raj, DDM NABARD, was the chief guest on the occasion, reviewing the Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan an initiative for reaching out to the poor households in villages of Districts Jammu, Rajouri, Kathua, Samba & Kishtwar.
The programme was focus on maximum enrolment of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY).
He appreciated the efforts of the bank towards social security schemes and applauded that the bank is making extraordinary efforts to make the national programme of social security schemes a big success. He aware the gathering about these schemes and requested them to enroll under these social security schemes.
Mohinder Singh, Branch Head Lam, also aware the people regarding use of social security schemes i.e., PMJDY, PMJJBY & PMSBY the schemes of the bank. He aware people about the various lending schemes tailored by our bank for General Public available on easy EMIs i.e. Housing Loan, Transport Loan, Car Loan, Education Loan, etc., where rate of interest charged by the bank is very competitive, RuPay debit cards were also distributed to the customers. The stress was also given on social security schemes including APY, PMJJBY, PMSBY and presented the vote of thanks.
