J&K Grameen bank has inaugurated Point of Sale (PoS) services at M/s Choudhary Groups of Companies and M/s Lavish Motors in Sarore and Swankha Morh under the Branch Office Kartholi and Swankha Morh respectively.
Janak Raj Angural, Chairman, JKGBwho was the chief guest, inaugurated the PoS terminals at both the venues amidst thunderous applause. In his inaugural, he expressed his gratification in fulfilling the continuing demand of customers forPoS devices. Hesaid thatPoS devices are the need of the hour as its aides the mission of GOI to make India a cashless economy. He expressed his gratitude to the esteemed customers who have marked their presence in the inauguration functions and also appreciated the efforts of IT Team who has implemented the PoS solution in such a short span. He also highlighted the various lending schemes tailored by our bank for General Public available on easy EMIs like housing, education, real estate, transport loans etc. and various subsidy linked loan schemes such as DEDS, PMEGP, JKREGP etc.
Romesh Vaid, General Manager, JKGBthanked the clientele for being associated with the bank and also briefed them about the various benefits of using PoS devices. He also thrown light on theexisting digital products and services like Rupay Debit Cards, NEFT/RTGS, IMPS, SMS Alerts etc. offered by the bank.
Amit Laira, Regional Manager, Samba & Kathuathanked the management for choosing district Samba for the PoS inauguration and also the clientele for their gracious presence on the occassion.He talked aboutvarious problems faced by the general public due to the unawareness of the availability of digital and cashless transaction methods. He impressed upon the public to learn and use of these cashless modes of payment. He also appealed the branch managers to generate more demand for PoS devices.
Salim Choudhary Prop. Choudhary Groups of Companies and Ganesh Choudhary Prop. Lavish Motors also appreciated the efforts for fulfilling their demand for PoS device in such a short span and said that it would have been impossible for them to flourish their business without the support of JKGB.
Vipan Gupta, Senior Manager, FI& I Departmenthosted the inauguration functions at both the venues. He also emphasized that the usage of PoS devices will further increase the usage of Debit Cards and credit cards leading India towards a cashless economy.
Jyotsna Garib, Incharge IT Department thanked the management for bearing time out of their busy schedule for the inauguration of PoS terminals.She further thanked Rakesh Bhat, Corporate Manager, Worldline India Pvt. Limitedfor guiding the merchants about the usage of PoS terminals during the inauguration ceremoniesand his entire team for kind cooperation in implementing the PoS solution in such a short period. She further assured the clientele to avail more digital products at the earliest.
General Manager Kashmir region, all the Sectional Heads and all the regional managers were also present during the occasion. IT Staff, various Sarpanchs and Panchs of the areas also graced the occasion with their presence.
