JAMMU, Nov 30: Accompanied by the officials, a 19-member J&K team today left for
participation in the Junior National Judo Championship to be held at Lucknow from December one to
December five under the banner of J&K Judo Association.
Earlier, the selected Judokas underwent screening conducted by the J&K Sports Council under the
guidance of Divisional Sports Officer, Ravi Singh and member, Satish Gupta (manager). Also present
were general secretary of the Association, Vikas Gupta, senior coach, Suraj Bhan Singh, Ritika Slathia,
Suraj Sharma.
President of the Association, Thakur Rachpal Singh conveyed his best wishes to the team.
The J&K team is accompanied by Shafkat Shafi and Shakti Gupta as coaches while Manish Chatwal
