J&K makes it 3-2 win against Bihar in Mini Volleyball

JAMMU, Apr 22:
Jammu and Kashmir made a winning start in the 27th Mini National Volleyball Championship at Shiridi in Maharashtra beating Bihar in a close contest 3-2 (30-28, 25-23, 15-25, 24-26, 15-11).
As per the reports reaching here, Bhanu Partap Singh, Prince, Rohit, Aman and Aryan played brilliant game thereby guided the side to an important win.
Both coach, Shubam Sharma and manager, Mohinder Sharma worked harld with the boys in this marathon five sets game.
Earlier the event was declared open by actor, director and producer, Sohail Khan, who was the chief guest.
Ramavtar Singh Jakhar, secretary general, VFI was guest of honour.
In all, 44 teams drawn from 22 states and other affiliated units of the VFI are taking part in this competition.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Volleyball Association of J&K, Kuldip Magotra has been nominated as chairman of the control committee of the Championship.
