Vilakshan Singh, President of the J&K National Panthers Party (Bhim), officially released the party’s manifesto for the Vidhan Sabha elections 2024. The manifesto outlines a comprehensive plan aimed at restoring statehood and addressing key issues affecting the residents of Jammu and Kashmir. Singh said that the Panthers Party (Bhim) is committed to the immediate restoration of statehood. He said that the party would ensure that the rights in jobs and land shall be reserved exclusively for the original residents of J&K. The party has laid out clear promises to ensure a fair and prompt recruitment process, as well as the regularization of daily wage workers.
Panthers Party (Bhim) has also promised to enhance the ease of doing business, aiming to create a more favorable and efficient environment for entrepreneurs and businesses by streamlining regulations, reducing bureaucratic hurdles, and providing robust support systems.
In the manifesto party promised 300 free units of electricity for poor and downtrodden. Party also ensured that pension for the Specially abled, widows and senior citizens would be enhanced to Rs. 6000/- per month. Party also promised to improve the standard of life of the residents of UT by providing better health care facilities, better education facilities and better sports facilities in UT of J&K.
In a strong stance against corruption and crime, particularly those crimes committed against women and children, J&K National Panthers Party (Bhim) has vowed to adopt a zero-tolerance policy. Furthermore, the manifesto highlights the party’s determination to eradicate the burgeoning drug menace that continues to claim the lives of the youth in the region. Recognizing the critical need for judicial reforms, the party promises measures to ensure that justice is swift and not delayed. The manifesto also includes a commitment to the dignified rehabilitation of Kashmiri migrants. Party also promised to continue its fight for the migrants of Jammu region.
A key feature of the party’s vision is the establishment of an Accountability Commission aimed at ensuring that corrupt officials cannot harass the citizens. The manifesto ensures that there will be no detention without trial.
J&K National Panthers Party (Bhim) promised to work for upliftment of the vulnerable sections of society, with specific promises aimed at improving the welfare of senior citizens, the specially abled persons and farmers. “This manifesto is a blueprint for the restoration of rights and dignity to the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” said Vilakshan Singh. “Our commitments are not just promises, but a roadmap to a just and prosperous future for all residents of J&K.”
Singh also announced four candidates from Jammu North, Jammu West, Chhamb and Ramgarh constituencies. Naresh Chib would contest from Jammu North, Rakesh Gupta would contest from Jammu West, Rakesh Kumar would contest from Ramgarh and Vijay Kumar Pandey would contest from Chhamb Assembly constituency.
J&K National Panthers Party (Bhim) invites all citizens to join in their campaign as they work towards a prosperous Jammu and Kashmir.
Singh also informed the media that security has not been provided to the leaders and star campaigners of the party and the party has approached ECI against the discriminatory attitude of the administration.
