A Press conference of Jammu and Kashmir youth Development forum was held at Coffee Cafe Day Lawns Durga Nag, Sonawar , Srinagar today in which Muneer choudhary President elaborated on their plans for strengthening the democracy in the State and announced their participation in upcoming Panchayat elections by fielding youths of all sections of society on Independent Platform in all Districts of the State Specially Kashmir with the agenda of Transformation of youth thru Paigam – E – Mohabbat , Peace , Employment opportunities and participation in democratic process for nation building process.
This has happened on a day when world tallest statue of India’s Great national Leader sardar vallabh Bhai Patel was unveiled by honorable Prime minister of the country Narendra Modi in Gujrat. With Due and Great respect to Sardar Patel who did yeoman’s service in uniting and integrated the nation INDIA, Youths from all community without formal political background have come together to achieve their goal through democratic way in jammu and Kashmir, Whereas on the other side some youths are picking up gun to achieve their goals. JKYDF has played important role to lend voice to the sentiments of youth after thousands of people especially youth had come out to support message of peace and harmony by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar during his visit to the valley on 10th March this year”, the president of the Forum said, adding “Sri Sri had addressed unprecedented gathering and delegations at SKICC lawns and since then Kashmiri youth have been coming out against militancy
The key note speakers were Muneer choudhary President, Advocate Rabindar singh Gen secretary and Farooq Ahmad safri Coordinator of the JKYDF. In separate notes the speakers accused PDP and NC to field their proxy candidates in urban body elections and showing their double standards only for vote bank politics by trying retaining power on one side and taking stand on sec 35A and 370 on the other side. Muneer demanded that all of such PDP and NC leaders should resign from their posts and evict government accommodations and leave all perks they are getting from government.
Youths from all community without formal political background have come forward to provide constructive direction to this mission of transformation of youth of Jammu and Kashmir under aegis of forum by the name JKYDF. Forum has taken matters in its hands and this platform will work for the value based employment oriented skill Trainings of the youth of the state especially torn and ridden Valley so that they do not take up militancy in future. Further this cohesive platform will work to strengthen faith in democracy and the first step in this direction has been to participate in panchayat elections. Wherever youth will participate in sizable number and will field their candidates elaborated Muneer Chowdhary , President of Jammu Kashmir Youth Development Forum.
