Today daily wagers from different departments under the banner of Jammu Kashmir Casual Labour United Front (JKCLUF) led by President JKCLUF, Tanveer Hussain met a State President BJP, Sat Sharma and discussed the issues of daily wagers including regularization, Minimum Wages Act and those which are stuck in the online process of various departments.
The leaders of the Front appealed to Sat Sharma to raise our issue at the party level as well as before the central government, so that the people who have been serving for years can get justice.
Front leaders told to Sat Sharma that some of our people who were daily wagers have died and some who were daily wagers have died and some are about to die. For so many years no one is listening to these people, Front appealed to you that J&K is a union territory and now the union government can intervene in this matter and give the daily wagers their rights.
During this, Sat Sharma assured the delegation that he will discuss this issue with the high command of BJP and will raise this issue before the J&K BJP leadership as well as the Union Government. Sharma also said that he understands the pain of daily wagers and always stands with them.
Sat Sharma said that he will come alongwith Party MLA’s to the Mahapanchayat that the Front is going to hold on 21st & 22nd April and raise the voice of daily wagers.
