JAMMU, April 13: The president and members of J&K Football Association (JKFA) as also those players deeply mourned the sad demise of Haroon Quareshi, ex-football player of Maharaja Sports Club Srinagar who left for heavenly abode today while attending a practice match at Anjum Ground Qamarwari in Kashmir.
He was a thorough gentleman, soft spoken and a promising sportsman. His sudden death has created a void which is difficult to fill.
A condolence meeting also held at JKFA office under the chairmanship of general secretary, Prof. BA Shah.
