Today Jammu Kashmir Govt Pharmacist Association (JKGPA), Jammu celebrated World Pharmacist Day at Press Club, Jammu under the chairmanship of Mr Sushil Sudan State President Jammu Kashmir Govt Pharmacist Association, Jammu & Executive Member of Pharmacy Council of India. The Chief Guest of the programme was Sh Sham Lal Sharma, Ex Minister of Health & Family Welfare J&K Govt. They also inaugurated the function & enlightened the lamp.
This special day was established by International Pharmaceutical Federation. The theme of the year is developed by International Pharmaceutical Federation is Pharmacists: “You’re Medicines Expert”. The theme of World Pharmacist Day emphasis that pharmacists are a trusted source of knowledge and advice, not only for patient but for other healthcare professionals. For every patient who walks into a pharmacy, pharmacists ensure that the right medicine is provided at the right dose .
Every Year three million Pharmacists around the world act as partner to patient.
Sh Sham lal Sharma Ex Minister for Health shared his valuable experiences with the pharmacists & also extended their best wishes to all pharmacists of J&K hoping that they will continue serve the society with great zeal & passion.
Congratulating the team that was instrumental in the programme implementation Sh Sushil Sudan State President JKGPA, Sh Ch Jarnail Singh working president JKGPA, Sh Kamal Jit Sawhney Gen Secretary JKGPA, Mr Shafket Hussain ,Mr Bharat Bhushan,Mr Rakesh Bakshi, Mr Mukhtar Kohli,Sh Pawan kumar , Mr Dheeraj Sharma, Sanjay Choudhary, Mohd Shakeel, Mr kuldeep, S Harpal Singh, Mr Ved paul saini, Mr Onkar Singh ,Mr Madan lal, Mr Vishal Patil. Addressed the whole gathering & project their demands and gave valuable suggestions for the betterment of pharmacist category.
Jammu & Kashmir Govt Pharmacists Association also conveyed their thanks to Sh J.P Nadda Union Minister for Health for nominated Mr Sushil Sudan as Executive member of Pharmacy Council Of India.
Along with Sh Sham Lal Sharma Ex Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Madam Dr Madhu Khullar Ex Director Health Services, Jammu also grace the function.
