J&K State Integration and Public Relation Society (JKIPRS) held a seminar on National Public Relations Day i.e 21 April 2018 at Press Club Jammu on the topic “Jammu Under Siege” which was graced by Sh. Lila Karan Sharma, President, Vishav Hindu Parishad, J&K State as Chief Guest, whereas S.S. Bijral, IPS and Retd. IGP and Dr. Ajay Chrungoo, Chairman, Panun Kashmir were the Guest of Honour. Besides, Ankur Sharma, Advocate, J&K High Court was the special invitee who presented the keynote address.
Sh. Anil K. Padha, Chairman, JKIPRS, gave the introductory note and set the seminar into the motion by his opening remarks that the people of Jammu Region have been surrounded and now being hounded by the present dispersion and hence the Jammu is under siege.
Advocate Ankur Sharma elaborated the step wise demographical change imposed on the peace loving people of Jammu region in a conspicuous manner by the muslim regime of the J&K state. He described the Roshni Act as a part of the Islamic agenda and said that the same has been challenged in the J&K High Court by him besides Rs. 25000 Crore land scam where forest and state land has been encroached to settle the muslim population in the Hindu majority areas. He appealed the people of Jammu to stay united and demand a CBI enquiry in the Rassana case to get to the roots of the truth and punish the culprit.
Dr. Ajay Chrungoo laid stress on the criminal silence of the state and the centre for the ethnc cleansing of Hindus and appealed the people of Jammu to learn agitation to get their rights and assured to continue their struggle till last.
S.S. Bijral, Retd IGP, gave a historical examples and quotes of the communities who stood united and survived the onslaught. He also emphasized the need for awareness of the deep rooted conspiracy being hatched against the peace loving people of Jammu and appealed them to stay united and fight for their legitimate rights.
Lila Karan Sharma lauded the efforts of the young dynamic Advocate Sh. Ankur Sharma for his relentless fight against the corrupt system and his conviction with such determination, which is the need of the hour for Jammuties. He expressed his blessing and good wishes to Ankur Sharma and assured to stand by him. Sh. Ankur Sharma was honoured by JKIPRS through its Chairman, Sh. Anil K Padha on the occasion in the presence of all the dignitaries. The proceedings of the seminar was conducted by Sh. Kiran Kumar Sharma, Secretary of JKIPRS.
