JKNPP has demanded immediate relief and ration for Jammu Migrants camping in Reasi at Talwara which has been held up for the last seven months, causing great hardship to the inmates in the severe cold weather.
The Talwara Migrants in large number held protest demonstration under the leadership of Bashir-u-din, Joint Secretary JKNPP, against the District/Relief authorities for withholding much needed, ration, Kerosene Oil & Cash Relief for several months without any cogent reason. He said that the administration is totally against the poor Migrants languishing in the worst type of rotten accommodation at Talwara. He further appealed to the Hon’ble Governor to order immediate release of the withheld relief both in kind and cash to the Migrants.
In this connection Bashir-u-din also talked to the district administration and handed over memorandum to them at Reasi.
Others who participated in the demonstration include Jagdev Singh, Chamail Singh, Abdul Rasheed Malik, Ragubir Singh Paras, Ram Lal besides others.
