Jammu & Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) leadership urges upon His Excellency Shri Ramnath Kovind to provide security cover to all senior NPP leaders at par with other recognized political parties in J&K Ladakh.
Addressing a press conference at Press Club, Jammu today, Prof.Bhim Singh reiterated that JKNPP senior party leaders in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh have been intentionally denied security cover which is available to activists of other political parties in UTs.
Needless to mention that security cover of NPP leadership was withdrawn in 2019 when the State of J&K was demolished by the Parliament of India on 05 August, 2019.
Prof.Bhim Singh declared that the Panthers Party shall launch constitutional, political and peaceful movement for the restoration of Statehood to J&K with implementation of all Fundamental Rights, provided in the Constitution of India so that Assembly elections are held at the earliest, with an end to the President’s rule. Prominent among others who were in the press conference included P.K Ganju (Sr. Vice President), Masood Andrabi (Vice President), Ms. Anita Thakur; Hakikat Singh (General Secretaries), Capt. Anil Gour (Provincial President), Sdr. Paramjit Singh Marshall; Jahangir Khan (State Secretaries), Neeraj Dewan (General Secretary-PTU) and Surinder Kumar Wahi (Treasure).
