While addressing a press conference in Jammu Mr. Mohammad Gafoor Dar State President J&K National Trade Union front, Mr. Rajinder Kumar Vice President, Sh, Nazir Ahmed Molvi General Secretary & has condemned the delaying tactics of the state govt regarding the most burning issues of implementation of SRO 520 regarding regularization of casual labours of various departments numbering more than 60000 & who are suffering badly for want of their due pending wages since a long.
The casual labour of various departments are on the path of agitation for release of their pending wages & their regularization.
The govt despite constituting the committee to look into pending wages & their regularization has not come out with the sound proposal to address the grievances of the poor workers. In this situation, the J&K National trade Union front, the oldest organization representing the interests of the these state govt employees poor casual labour, Anganwadi workers, helpers & ASHA workers cannot remain silent spectators towards their legitimate demands. Thus forcing us to launch a trade union struggle for redressal of the grievances of the poor workers.
Now we have decided to hold a massive protest/demonstration on 19-03-2019 in front of Divisional Commissioner. Office Panama Chowk Jammu to press the state govt for immediate settlement fo the below noted genuine demands to fulfill the commitment of the govt with the poor casual labours & other state govt employees & workers.
The other senior leaders who were present in the press conference were Raj Singh, Piran Ditta, Sr. Karan Singh, Yash Pal & Shish Sharma.
