Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) and J&K Bank Academy today qualified for the semifinals of the Jammu leg of the 26th State Football Championship, organised by the J&K Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College ground, here.
In the quarterfinals, JKP defeated Hero Club by a solitary goal. The only goal came through Vishal Kumar in the 20th minute of the match.
In other last eight stages match, J&K Bank Academy made it a 4-2 win via tieb-breaker against Young Rovers.
Suresh Gupta, Honey Kumar, Romesh Kumar and Amit Verma comprised the technical penal in today’s matches.
Real Kashmir beat JKPDC XI
Meanwhile, in the Kashmir leg of the competition, Real Kashmir FC trounced J&K Power Development Corporation (JKPDC) 1-0. Shahzab scored the only goal of the match in the 35th minute.
