JAMMU, Nov 12:
The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued an important corrigendum regarding the J&K Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2024.
The updated guidelines include revised age limits for various categories of candidates. For the Open Merit (OM) category, candidates must have been born between January 1, 1989, and January 1, 2003. For reserved category and in-service candidates, the eligible age range has been set between January 1, 1987, and January 1, 2003. Additionally, the age range for physically challenged candidates has been revised to include those born between January 1, 1986, and January 1, 2003.
In a significant move to accommodate prospective applicants, the JKPSC has also extended the deadline for online applications for the exam. The new submission deadline is now December 2, 2024, giving candidates more time to submit their applications along with the required fee.
The Commission’s decision to extend the application period and revise the age limits offers a crucial opportunity for those aspiring to take the CCE 2024, ensuring that no eligible candidate is left out.
