JAMMU, January 28:
Accompanied by Olympian and World Cup gold medalist, Chain Singh, the office bearers of J&K Rifle Association (JKRA) today called on Advisor to the LG, Farooq Khan, here.
Interacting with the Advisor, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal (president), Amjad Parvez Mirza (general secretary) and Sharat Chander Singh (vice president, Administration) discussed the promotion of Shooting sports in J&K.
As per a handout issued by the Association, the Advisor assured the visiting delegation of JKRA that all possible help will be extended to the Association in the coming days.
It also mentioned about the assurance with regard to upgrading the existing shooting range at the upcoming Khel Gaon in Nagrota. The Advisor also informed about the engagement of international and national level players as coaches, the handout added.
