Today students of M.A.M College Jammu under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir students union JKSU held a protest demonstration in front of M.A.M college gate and block the main road more than 1 hours.
Students lead by Lucky Singh and demanded to the governor for immediately removal of IGP Traffic Basant Rath.
The students alleged that I.G. Basant Rath misuse his power and misuse of his position they alleged that as well all know 2 days before he slapped a media person which was not tolerated by the students community and resident of Jammu.
As students raised slogans against the I.G traffic police and appeal to the Governor for lodging the F.I.R against I.G traffic police students also alleged that I.G using vulgar language with public of Jammu.
Others who were present Arunpal Singh (President MAM College), Damanjot Singh (President SPMR College), Savneet Singh (Spokesperson), Manpreet Singh, Prince, Anshu, Sahil etc.
