The Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation today met with Advisor to Governor Sh K. Vijay kumar in the civil Sectt Jammu & discussed various issues regarding the beautification & security aspects of Jammu city. Earlier Mayor also met with Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Sh Sanjeev Verma (IAS) in his office chamber and discussed in detail regarding over all development of Jammu city like connection of Multistory parking at Bus stand with Town Hall, SMGS hospital & with Super specialty Hospital to minimize the traffic problem of the city, Development of old sabzi mandi Parade & Narwal mandi with modern facilities, formulation of rehri hut behind yatri Bhawan in the Municipal Land, speed up of work at Mubarak mandi heritage Complex etc. Mayor also visited the Dharna Sathal by POK displaced persons at Bakshi Nagar & assured that their genuine demands will be taken up with Hon’ble Governor J&K on priority basis.
Earlier Mayor inaugurated the construction of lane & drain in ward no.24 Rehari Colony along with Hon’ble Councilor Smt. Anu Bali & listened the grievances of the residents and directed the officers on spot to redress the grievance at an earliest and also appeal to the citizens to corporate with the Jammu Municipal to make Jammu city Clean and Green.
