Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation, Chander Mohan Gupta received the blessings of Babey Wali Mata a day before the starting of Navratri. On Friday During the visit of the he also carried out a cleanliness drive there. Mayor Chandra Mohan Gupta was accompanied by Deputy Mayor Purnima Sharma, BJP’s Jammu District President Baldev Singh Bilouria and other leaders. They also went to Mata’s temple along with the mayor and received the blessings of Kali Mata. Mayer also prayed for peace and prosperity in Jammu.During his visit, he carried out a clean campaign there. The Mayor also took stock of preparations for the Navaratri which will started on Saturday. During the visit the Mayor said that cleanliness will be taken care of during the Navaratri and it will also be ensured that during Navratri,ere should not be any problem of the devotees. It may be mentioned here that lakhs yatries come to get the blessings of Mata during the Navaratri. He said that special care will be taken to provide the Basic facilities to the devotees and adequate security arrangements will also be made During the Navratris.
