Jammu Muslim Front (JMF) Chairman Shuja Zafer and President Qazi Imran today extended their full support to Independent candidate Sham Din Choudhary and appealed the people of Ward No-74 of Gujjar Nagar to vote wholeheartedly in favour of Sham Choudhary.
The leaders while addressing the press conference said that these Municipal elections not only strengthen democracy but also put in place much awaited 3-tier system of governance in Jammu and Kashmir which were ignored by the previous successive governments.
Sham Din Chawdhary while addressing the media said, “People having very high expectations from the Municipal Corporation which will be collecting its members very soon and these elections will opportunity to address their wards effectively.”
He further assured that he will leave no stone un-turned to develop ward no.74 Gujjar Nagar on Modern lines and provide people with better amenities besides to address dilapidated parks and non functional street lights including playgrounds and parks will also be developed separately for children and aged citizens so that they can play and walk respectively.
He added, ‘This election was overdue and now that same stand announced it will prove to be a turning point for Jammu and Kashmir State. The kind of enthusiasm visible proves people faith in democratic system which is quite a healthy sign.”
