JTC, SKF holds joint meet

A joint meeting of the Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) J&K was held here today under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita President JTC/SKF J&K. The meeting was attended by the office bearers and members. During the course of meeting discussions were held regarding the problems confronted to Kashmiri Pandit Migrant Community. While address to the participants Sh. Shadi Lal Pandita has said that though the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant community is very much interested in their return and rehabilitation in Kashmir valley but some vested interested agencies have been misleading the government saying that Kashmiri Pandit Migrant community is not willing for their return and rehabilitation in Kashmir valley and the government both at Central level as well as State level has remained silent in ensuring return and rehabilitation of this community living in exile for past more than 28 years.
Sh. Pandita has said that in case the Government is committed to return and rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant Community in Kashmir valley. Three township are required to be brought up for the purpose for ensuring dignified living of this community in Kashmir valley.
Pandita has said that the present cash assistance relief to the Migrants is not sufficient to meet their domestic needs due to price hike in all essential commodities, as such as demanded enhancement of cash assistances relief to the Migrant relief holders.
