Samvedna Sharma, Research Scholar, Department of Education, University of Jammu, was awarded with the best paper presentation award in International Psychological Conference on “Peace & Well being: Manifestation Across Age & Culture” at Punjab University Chandigarh. She was awarded for the paper titled “Role of Academic achievement between school bullying and emotional dysregulation: moderation analysis” in the conference, jointly organized by National Association of Psychological Science and Department of Psychology and Department of Anthropology, Punjab University Chandigarh and sponsored by Anthropological Survey of India. Her research paper was aimed to assess the role of academic achievement between school bullying and emotional dysregulation among adolescents. Sharing her experience at the conference, Samvedna said, an assortment of research on distinctive works is surely a great assistance and will also provide an impetus to delve into research further.
Basically, school bullying effects on emotion regulation and academic achievements of adolescent, she said adding that school bulling should be stopped in educational setting. Samvedna is currently pursuing her Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr Kajal Manhas, Assistant Professor, Department of Education, University of Jammu. Vice-Chancellor  Prof Manoj Dhar congratulated Samvedna for bagging best paper award in the International Conference. Prof Dhar appreciated the researcher’s effort and hoped that other researchers of the University would also explore and present research at international level.
She also interacted with eminent Academicians and Research Scholars and shared the recent ideas with them.
