Mini Stadium Chaugan(Majalta)- Gushu Malaysia Cricket Tournament was today formally thrown open by Vice-Chairperson DDC Udhampur, Mrs. Juhi Manhas Pathania at Mini Stadium Thail-Chaugan. Whereas Kartar Chand, social worker, Amit Sharma, Councillor DDC Majalta and nodal officers of the area remained present. The gala tournament is being organized by Mr Kamal Krishan alias Gushu Malaysia. There are 32 teams competing for the ace title. The inaugural match was being played between Palnoo team and Mansar-B. Teams from all over the Jammu region are taking part in this tournament which fetches a cash prize of Rs one lac with attractive refreshments, sports attires etc.Whereas Mrs Manhas was apprehensive of the vast potential of local players and the essence and edifice of sports promotion in the area.
