Justice Rashid Ali Dar accorded warm send-off

Justice Rashid Ali Dar was accorded warm send-off today on his impending superannuation as judge of Jammu and Kashmir High Court. A full court reference was organized by the High Court Jammu Wing to bid adieu to the Justice.
The farewell function was attended by Chief Justice of J&K High Court, Justice Gita Mittal, Justice Rajesh Bindal, Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey, Justice Tashi Rabstan, Justice Sanjeev Kumar and Justice Sindhu Sharma.
The function was also attended by Chief Secretary BVR Subramanyam, Principal Secretary Home, Shaleen Kabra, Principal Secretary Housing and Urban Development Department Dheeraj Gupta, Law Secretary Achal Sethi, President Bar Association Abhinav Sharma along with his team of advocates, Additional Advocate General S.S Nanda, Additional Solicitor General of India, Tahir Shamsi and Vishal Sharma, former Judges of J&K High Court, Principal District & Sessions Judge Jammu RK Wattal and other Judicial Officers, Officers of Registry and members of Bar.
The farewell proceedings were conducted by Registrar General, Sanjay Dhar, while as Additional Advocate General, S.S Nanda addressed the gathering and highlighted Justice Dar’s judicial verdicts during his tenure in J&K High Court.
In his remarks, Justice Rashid Ali Dar appreciated the cooperation and commitment of the members of Bar and their support in his time in High Court. Justice Rashid Ali Dar also praised the judges of the High Court, Judicial Officers of the State and personal staff of High Court for their dedication and commitment. Justice Dar expressed his gratitude and affection for the entire judicial fraternity.
Later, Guard of Honour was also presented to Justice Rashid Ali Dar.
