Demanding the right to self determination and Justice to the families of victims of 1984 Anti Sikh Genocide through out India in general and Reasi, Talwara, Jyotipurarn, Ser Manj i la Tehsil Ramnagar, J&K in particular, various Sikh Organizations led by The Jammu and Kashmir Sikh Sangat held a protest march today and took out the remembrance, march started from Gurudwara Guru Nanak Dev Ji Chand Kouran Jammu which was participated by the Parvinder Singh President of Jammu and Kashmir Slid, Sangat, M. Jasarath Khan Rashtriya Muslim Morcha, BAMCEF, S. Ranjeet Singh Sikh Morcha, BAMCEF/ United Sikh Council J&K, Choudhary Hanef Bahujan Samajwadi Party, Molana Shah Mohammed Choudhary Bhartiya Baichara, R.D. Thapa, Ambedkar Youva Sangathan, Anil Kumar Youva Bhim Sena, Molana Mohammed Azmal Choudhary Cordination Committee Communal Hormany, Comrade Sukhdev Singh, Tejinder Singh, Tejinder Pal Singh (Aman) Sikh Youth Sewa Trust, Jathedar Mohinder Singh Member District Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee & President, Shiromani Alkali Dal Badal, Kulvinder President Gurudwara Guru Nanak Dev Jee, Chand Nagar, Jammu. While speaking on the occasion blamed the State as well as Central Government for not giving justice after 34 years of Sikh genocide in which more than 5000 innocent killing of Sikh families were done in the whole country at that time. The whole law and order situation in the entire India was out of gear for more than a week.
Nobody, from the Government side came forward to help the Sikhs victims during that period.
The Anti Sikh riots which started on 1 November 1984 make a black spot on the whole country. Terming the massacre as State sponsored and mass killing of Sikhs Comrade Sukhdev Singh sought the intervention of United Nations for an INTERNATIONAL INQUIRY into the incidents.
To paid obeisance, all those killed persons the Sikh Sangat held a silent protest march in Jammu, and mark that genocide Day as a “BLACK DAY”. The protest march which was started from Gurudwara Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Chand Nagar and Culminated at Press Club after passes through main bazaar .
